Interaction between production and consumption in an active distribution network; Zusammenspiel von Erzeugung und Verbrauch im zukuenftigen aktiven Verteilnetz

Due to the increasing number of distributed generators in recent years, electrical distribution networks are in change. To overcome this challenge, the working group energy Systems of the Institute for High Voltage Technology and Electrical Power Systems of the TU Braunschweig develops and analyses many possible approaches in the field of future power supply. This includes the variable transformer, the grid-driven operation mode of combined micro-CHP units and the integration of electrical storage systems. The research activities are complemented by an interdisciplinary approach focussing on the human-machine-interaction. (orig.)
