Study on determination of pentachlorophenol(PCP) residues in textiles

An analytical method for determination of pentachlorophenol residues(PCP) in textiles including UV/Vis spectrophotometry,high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS),gas chromatography(GC),gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) and immunoassay is presented in this paper.The advantages and disadvantages of the different methods are summarized and compared each other with the developing direction in detecting PCP residues put forward.
