Quality of verapamil crystalline parent substance studied using IR spectroscopy and thermal analysis

IR spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry have been used to study the quality of verapamil crystalline parent substance from different manufacturers. It is established that samples with fully coinciding IR spectra may exhibit differences in thermoanalytical curves.
