A method and apparatus for energy-saving type longitudinal motion control of an electric vehicle, and an electric vehicle. The method comprises: receiving a vehicle cruising speed, a speed fluctuation quantity and a total mileage, and obtaining an upper vehicle speed bound and a lower vehicle speed bound according to the vehicle cruising speed, the speed fluctuation quantity and the total mileage; controlling, according to the lower vehicle speed bound, a vehicle so that same enters a first cruising stage, and turning on an engine (100) and a first electric motor (MG1) and turning off a second electric motor (MG2); and when the current vehicle speed is larger than or equal to the upper vehicle speed bound, controlling the vehicle so that same enters a second cruising stage, and turning on the first electric motor (MG1) and the second electric motor (MG2) and turning off the engine (100). The method can reasonably distribute the power in the engine (100) and/or among a plurality of electric motors (MG1, MG2) of a vehicle, according to an upper and lower vehicle speed bound, thereby improving the economy and intelligence of the vehicle, and thus improving the reliability and practicability of the vehicle.
