Currently, DM2 rates have increased worldwide and an association with lifestyle has been found, mainly in patients that have overweight and obesity. Articles where studies were conducted in different countries and in different populations have been analyzed, exposing them to changes in lifestyle, such as healthy diets and an increase in weekly aerobic physical activity. According to the data obtained, it was possible to demonstrate that a change in lifestyle improves alterations in glucose tolerance.
