A 5-year-old Japanese girl presented with a 4-month history of a solid dermal tumor on the left side of her forehead. She had neither diathesis for autoimmune disorders nor family history of alopecia areata. Her left eyebrow and vellus hairs around the tumor had been lost as the tumor grew.
