Increasing Serum Alpha-Fetoprotein Levels in a Neonate with Multiple Hepatic Lesions: A Case of Multifocal Congenital Hepatic Hemangioendotheliomas

Infantile hemangioendothelioma is the most common hepatic vascular tumor in infants less than six months of age. We report a case of a neonate with a diagnostic dilemma who had a hemangioendothelioma with highly elevated and rising serum alpha-fetoprotein.
