Effect assessment of gradual rehabilitation training on functional recovery of postoperatively upper limbs in breast cancer patients.

[Objective] To investigate the effect of gradual rehabilitation training on functional recovery of postoperatively upper limbs in breast cancer patients.[Methods] According to the method of operation,the extent of damage of local tissue and the physical condition,the gradual rehabilitation training was undertaken in 86 breast cancer patients.The ROM of shoulder and the ADL were evaluated on diseased limbs after three weeks.[Results] Among 86 patients,81 cases(94.19%) were up to the standard of ROM recovery;eating,combing,dressing,brush and washing with diseased limbs were found in 82 cases(95.35%),78 cases(90.70%),83 cases(96.15%),81 cases(94.19%),respectively.[Conclusion] Gradual rehabilitation training is of great help for the patients with breast cancer to grasp standardized rehabilitation skills,and it has played an important role for functional recovery of postoperatively diseased limbs.The ADL and quality of life have also been enhanced.
