The Fitting of Gas Turbine Component Characteristic Equations

In this paper,five fit statistics evaluation indexes is proposed to evaluate the goodness of fitting order times of characteristic equations for gas turbine,which including Residual Sum of Squares SSE,Mean Square Deviation RMSE,Correlation Coefficient Square R2,Index Q1,and Index Q2.This approach is adopted for avoiding imprecise result due to low fitting order times,or the noise of measurement data is brought into fitting model when the fitting order times is too high.The results show that optimal fitting order times can be achieved by five fit statistics indexes,and the method by experience can be avoided.It is provided a technique for selecting optimal fitting order times of characteristic equation.
