The invention relates to a process for the production of housing parts for optical or optoelectronic components. For this purpose a metal housing element is connected with a transparent housing member using a Glaslotrings, wherein the solder glass with the metallic casing member and the transparent housing element is brought into contact and wherein the metal housing member is inductively heated by a signal generated by an induction coil electromagnetic alternating field, so that the glass solder is heated in contact with the metal casing element and melted and a hermetic connection between the annular metal housing member and the transparent housing element is manufactured by the melting and subsequent solidification of the glass solder.
