Peroxidase mimetic sensor for the determination of low concentrations of ethanol in aqueous solutions

2002
A peroxidase mimetic was used to construct and test a new type of a peroxidase sensor for determining extremely low concentrations of ethanol in aqueous solutions. The proposed sensor makes it possible to identify trace concentrations of ethanol using a simple and inexpensive technique (the sensitivity of the peroxidase mimetic sensor with respect to ethanol was estimated at 10 - 6 wt %).
