Incremental measuring means for detecting speed, direction of rotation and the axial position of axially movable gears

2007
The invention relates to an incremental measuring device (12) for detecting speed, direction of rotation and the axial position of a central axial position of the axially displaceable in two axial end positions gears (1) having two sprockets (2, 4), comprising: a) sensors (14 to 22), which on passing of a tooth of a gear rim (2, 4) produce a signal change in an output signal, and of which b) at least two sensors (14, offset 16) in axial and circumferential directions to each other are arranged and located relative to the periphery of a ring gear (2) when the gearwheel (1) is in the intermediate axial position, c) at least two additional sensors (18, 20) are arranged offset in the axial and circumferential directions to each other and (compared to the circumference of the other ring gear 4) when the gear wheel in which is located an axial end position, d) at least one further sensor (22) (against the periphery of the other ring gear 4) and the further sensors (18, 20) are located against the periphery of a ring gear (2) when the gearwheel (1) in the other axial end position is located.
