Bol. San. Veg. Plagas, 16 (1): 391-397. Breviroryne brassicae (Aphididae Macrosiphini) is a frequent aphid in all parts of Spain. It attacks, in a more or less virulent way, the Cruciferae crops and it colonizes many wild species of this botanic family. With the capture of aphids (Horn. Aphidoidea) carried out through Moericke and suction traps in Leon from 1980 to 1983 and from 1986 to 1988, the flight lines of Brevicoryne brassicae have been estabilished. The species was regulary captured in the whole seven years of sampling and in a synchronic way of the different systems of catching every year. Nevertheless, the higher number of captures and their precocity in Moericke traps than in Rothamsted suction traps has been verified. In the same way, the anholocychic character of the species is a town in the study area due to the absence of captures of winged males.
