Foreign programs for the storage of spent nuclear power plant fuels, high-level waste canisters and transuranic wastes

The various national programs for developing and applying technology for the interim storage of spent fuel, high-level radioactive waste, and TRU wastes are summarized. Primary emphasis of the report is on dry storage techniques for uranium dioxide fuels, but data are also provided concerning pool storage.
