There are hardly any studies dedicated to the analysis of stimulus potentially activators of humor (SH). Therefore, this study has as one of its objectives to develop a classification of SH within the framework of a functional analysis of Sense of Humor. There were analyzed 492 different types of SH from which we developed three categories, each one with subcategories depending on: (A) * SH Aids: 1- oral or written, 2visual-graphic and 3-specific situation; (B) Topic: 1-Political-religious, 2-Erotic, 3-Chauvinist-Feminist, 4-Labor and 5-Ethnic; and (C) the nature of the emotion that it triggers: Positive and Negative.
