Preparation of Compound Sodium Nitrophenolate Pillared Mg-Al Hydrotalcite

2010
As the guest molecule, compound sodium nitrophenolate were intercalated into the host molecules, magnesium aluminum layered double hydroxides (Mg-Al-LDH), by using the methods of titration coprecipi- tation method and ion exchange, respectively. The structures of the obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and IR specturm. The results show that the compound sodium nitrophenolate mole- cule can be inserted into the layers of hydrotalcite using the above two methods and the intercalation effi- ciency of the titration coprecipitation method was better than the method of ion exchange.
