CASE REPORT/CAS CLINIQUE Fatal histoplasmosis in a non-HIV patient in French

Summary Histoplasmosis is an endemic fungal infection that causes no symptoms or minorself-limited illnesses in most cases. Severe forms are commonly reported in patients withimmunodeficiency disorders; histoplasmosis is considered to be an opportunistic infection in withAIDS. Wereport acaseofdisseminatedhistoplasmosis in patient withnoinducedactive suppression of the immune response.
