Feedback Linearized Robust Control of Looper Electric Drives for Hot Rolling Mills

The method of synthesis of nonlinear robust control by looper position electric drives for hot rolling mills as two-mass electromechanical systems is developed. The method is based on feedback linearizing of initial nonlinear mathematical model of looper electric drives in to linear mathematical model. The result of modeling of dynamic characteristics of a synthesized nonlinear looper position electric drives for various values of the plant parameters is considered.
