The present invention generally are electrodes used in lead-acid battery system, the battery and the power storage device, and relates to a method of manufacturing electrodes, the storage battery and the power storage device. Specifically, the electrode of the present invention comprise an active material for a lead storage battery. Here, the electrode surface, the coating layer comprising a carbon mixture containing a plurality of composite carbon particles are formed, first each of the plurality of composite carbon particles, which is integrated with a plurality particles of the second conductive carbon material comprising particles of capacitors carbon material. Power storage device and storage battery comprising such an electrode are, for example, a hybrid electric vehicle repeated rapid charging and discharging in PSOC, idle stop vehicle, is particularly suitable for industrial applications such as wind and solar power.
