Process for the preparation of a composition intended for external topical use, comprising a true solution containing at least one compound (a) in a solvent (b) selected from said solvent (b) from the group consisting of polyethylene glycols , polypropylene glycols and mixtures thereof, and wherein said compound (a) an aglycone isoflavone chosen from the group consisting of genistein, daidzein, glycitein and mixtures thereof, which comprises solubilizing the compound (a) in the solvent (b), so that a true solution is formed, and then incorporating the true solution into the composition.
