Visualization Of 3-D Finite Element Model Analysis Of Defibrillation

1991
Construction and solution of 3-D finite element models of the thorax experiencing defibrillatory shock generates several 3-D data sets: tomographic scans, tissue classification, thoracic voltages, thoracic voltage gradients, and thoracic current densities. The requirements for a set of visualization tools to aid in interpreting these data are identified, and an implementation/development plan is presented.
