Die Bedeutung von α-Glycerophosphat und 2,3-Diphosphoglycerat im Augenmuskelstoffwechsel des Menschen
1971
A strong neo-synthesis of α-glycerophosphate and 2,3-diphosphoglycerate was found in the human extraocular muscle. The mechanism of action of these substances as regulators in the muscular metabolism has been discussed. While with α-glycerophosphate no differences had been found in the neo-synthesis of muscles of patients with normal muscular equilibrium and patients with an early occured strabism, a significant increase of the 2,3-diphosphoglycerate-radio-activity was to be seen in the muscle of squinting persons. A possible connection between ATPase-deficiency and a stimulated 2,3-diphosphoglycerate-synthesis is shown.
