The Local Climate of the Rybinsk Reservoir

1965
AbstractThe appearance of the Rybinsk Reservoir has had the effect of increasing wind velocity, especially at night, raising nighttime and lowering daytime temperatures in the first half of summer, and producing a round-the-clock warming effect in the late summer and autumn. The warming effect in turn tends to lower relative humidity at night while increases are observed in the daytime.
