INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT PROXANOLS ON THE COALESCENCE RESISTANCE OF PERFLUORODECALIN DROPLETS

1990
The results of the investigation of the coalescence resistance of individual perfluorodecalin droplets in aqueous solutions of proxanols 226, 456, 168, and 268 have been compared with data on the rheology of the corresponding interfacial adsorption layers. The stabilizing effect of the proxanols investigated increases with the increasing fraction of ethylene oxide in the molecule
