Prediction Analysis of the Signal Coverage from Multi-antenna System

This paper proposes a signal covering analysis method for multi-channel RFID system to improve the detecting efficiency and accuracy for the moving tags. A program is developed for the prediction analysis of the field intensity in the working space and used for the optimal installations of the reading antennas. In the application for the design of a four-channel RFID system, the calculated field intensity analysis matches well with the simulated results and gives the optimal installation coordinates for the four antennas with a satisfaction of the detecting sensitivity.
