Discovery of para -alkylthiophenoxyacetic acids as a novel series of potent and selective PPARδ agonists

Abstract A novel series of potent and selective PPARδ agonists, para -alkylthiophenoxyacetic acids, was identified. The synthesis and structure–activity relationships are described.
