Development of the MES software and Integration with an existing ERP Software in Industrial Enterprise

The improvement of the processes within the production system is the need of each company in order to enable better monitoring and control, as well as to provide all real-time information that is important for the decision-making process, in order to improve all processes and simultaneously control all elements of the process. Some of the most known systems that provide process monitoring are Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) systems, but usually, they are not integrated well, or company uses only one or none of those systems. This paper aims to show an example of the software solution that is integrated as a new MES system with an already existing ERP system in a single automotive industry.
