Poliartrite E Gigantismo Em Animais Fiv: Relato De Caso

2013
In vitro production of bovine embryos has been used commercially with good results, but are described several problems with fetuses and calves derived from embryos produced in vitro, such as primary embryonic resorption, abortion, dystocia, high birth weight (calf syndrome large), stillbirth, high neonatal mortality and even brain damage, liver and kidney. This study aims to report and discuss two cases in Nelore breed animals from production in vitro, an animal showing large calf syndrome (gigantism) and other underdeveloped presenting a clinical picture of polyarthritis (septic arthritis).
