Contribution of solid state NMR spectroscopy to the characterization of materials

Abstract Magic angle spinning, high power decoupling, dipolar dephasing are useful techniques to provide information from solid materials. Through a selection of examples (silicas, calcium phosphate bioceramics and carbonaceous materials) these methods are shown to give essential information for the understanding of these materials.
