Recently a new shared concept of social and economic values has emerged. It can be seen in many business models including design fields. The focus of this design study is to engender and evaluate shared social and economics values in order to complementary design values from analyzing various publications. There are basically two principle types of business models: manufacturing and sales model, service supply model. This study aims to develop a social enterprise business model, and discover implications in the field of design business. A primary research objective is to facilitate better understanding between designers and stakeholder in order to create mutually shared values in design. It is hoped that this work may act as a useful reference source to better understand social enterprise business models. Efficacious designing for social responsibility which manifests shared economic values is becoming increasingly desired. This paper attempts to undertake an empirical study in order to project and then design according to future social enterprise needs and objectives.
