Study on sintering characteristics of MAS series green tape

The green tape was fabricated by the slurry was maded from MAS(MgO-Al2O3-SiO2) series microcrystal glass powder as functional phase,and the organic components to match it,with emulsifying machine mixer. The effects of the green tape’s compositions on sintering characteristics of the terrace board were studied. The results show that the effect of binder contents is largest,powder particle size and R value ψ (plasticizer:binder) is larger,on sintering characteristics for the green tape. The bigger relative density of terrace board is,the higher bending strength is.
