Long-spans mall-displacement automatic measuring method and apparatus thereof

The invention relates to a long-spans mall-displacement automatic measuring method and an apparatus thereof. The method of the invention comprises the following steps: 1) installing respectively a dial indicator assembly and a wire rope fixing assembly on two ends of an object to be tested, fixedly connecting one end of one wire rope with the dial indicator assembly and connecting the other end of the wire rope with the wire rope fixing assembly; 2) adjusting an installation position and a direction of the dial indicator assembly, simultaneously tensioning the wire rope so that the wire rope is in a tensioning state under an effect of a spring restoring force in the dial indicator body; 3) fixing the dial indicator assembly and one wire rope fixing assembly respectively on two measuring points of the object to be tested through a fastener, wherein at this time a reading on the dial indicator body is a measured value between the two measuring points; 4) when the object to be tested generates deformation, generating relative displacement between the two measuring points and acquiring the measured value after the displacement is generated between the two measuring points through the dial indicator body. The method and the apparatus of the invention can be widely applied in deformation measurement of an engineering structure.
