Research on energy consumption in wireless sensor networks based on LEACH by increasing cooperative transmission

Aiming at the shortcomings of unbalanced energy consumption among clusters in LEACH,cooperative transmission,whose advantage is that diversity gain can relieve the effect of the multipath fading,is adopted to solve the problem of unbalanced energy consumption among clusters in wireless sensor networks.Simulation results prove that when distance between nodes is larger than threshold,cooperative transmission can reduce energy consumption of the nodes effectively,which balances the energy consumption of the whole networks.
