Shell-model calculations in 114Sn

1995
Abstract Within the framework of the shell model including a surface δ-interaction, the single-neutron energies of 114 Sn up to the N = 82 gap are deduced and the spectrum of 114 Sn is interpreted. A remarkable agreement between experiment and theory is achieved up to J π = 16 + for the positive-parity states and J π = 13 − for the negative-parity states.
