Overview on Topic 1: Application of Nets to Real-Time Systems

Despite the ability of nets to describe fundamental concepts in concurrency and the number of analytic tools that have been provided, it is wellknown that modelling concrete systems with place-transition nets leads generally to large unreadable and unmanageable nets.
