A System for Measuring Tractor Fuel Use on Small Plots

ABSTRACT A simple and inexpensive system was devised to determine fuel use under field conditions. The system can be turned on and off while the tractor is in motion. This allows the tool to remain at working depth and the tractor to be at operating speed while the measurement is being made. Only two simple readings are needed at the end of the plot.
