Crystalline form of gatifloxacin. The present invention relates to a crystalline form of gatifloxacin obtainable by a process comprising recrystallization of the crude gatifloxacin in methanol and which is stabilized with a water content comprised between 2.5 and 4.5% by weight, at a procedure to obtain it and its use as an active ingredient in the preparation of pharmaceutical formulations.
