On the magnitude of the effective axial-vector coupling constant for the nuclei close to 146Gd
1987
Abstract On the basis of experimental investigations of Gamov-Teller spin flip β + transitions in neutron deficient nuclei near 146 Gd and theoretical calculations, the renormalization of the weak axial-vector coupling constant G A in heavy nuclei is derived: | G A / g v | = 0.7−1.0 (for a free neutron g A / g v = −1.25).
