Metal oxide microparticle dispersed slurry

Provided is a metal oxide particle dispersed slurry with which excellent screen printing ability is realized by the dispersibility of the metal oxide microparticles being improved. Additionally provided are a metal oxide microparticle dispersed paste that contains the metal oxide microparticle dispersed slurry, a metal oxide thin film manufacturing method using the metal oxide microparticle dispersed slurry or the metal oxide microparticle dispersed paste, and a metal oxide thin film obtained with the metal oxide thin film manufacturing method. The metal oxide microparticle dispersed slurry contains metal oxide microparticles and an organic solvent. The average diameter of the metal oxide microparticles is 10-100 nm. The organic solvent contains a polyol that has two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule, and wherein the ratio of the number of carbon atoms to the number of hydroxyl groups in the molecule is less than 5, and the viscosity at normal temperature is at least 100 mPa⋅s.
