there is provided a circuit arrangement for quasi-stationary switching of power semiconductor switches comprising a first power semiconductor switch that is arranged to switch a load, means connected to the power semiconductor switch gate driver circuit. The circuit further comprises a first diode, which is connected with its anode connected to a an input voltage supplied input terminal and is connected with its cathode both a connected to the first diode in series capacitor, as well as directly to the gate driver circuit. The circuit further comprising a disposed between the input terminal and the gate driving circuit pullup resistor, with the gate drive circuit and the pull-up resistor are designed such that they switch the gate of the power semiconductor switch in the off state to ground so that the capacitor is charged via the input terminal ,
