Prospects and Possibilities of Waste Water Reuse in Chhattisgarh

In India, waste water reuse has achieved great significance. Especially in Chhattisgarh, there are no facilities of waste water treatment, since the majority of water used for indoor domestic purposes is discharged after use as waste water. Waste water can be collected by a reticulated sewage system and treated at a conventional waste water treatment plant, there by promoting more efficient water use. This has many significant economic and environmental benefits of the community. Black waste water from the toilet and grey water including domestic waste water, waste water from bathrooms, kitchens and laundries can be reused.
