Sensor temperature for a low-power low-voltage self-powered system using vibration scavenging

2007
This paper presents the conception of a Smart Low Power Temperature Sensor which is powered using ambient vibration energy. It is presented the architecture of the conception of the sensor to be implemented. This power system will be the main part of the power stage for a self-powered micro temperature sensor inside a distributed sensor network where accessibility to human being operators is very difficult. The oriented application of this system is to sense the temperature in harsh environments or when accessibility is limited to human operators. A full analysis of the sensor is presented.
