Distribución y reproducción del Alimoche común (Neophron percnopterus) en Gipuzkoa

This report presents the results of monitoring the Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) populations and distribution throughout the Historical Territory of Gipuzkoa (Basque Country) during the breeding seasons of 2006 and 2007. Nine nesting territories were recorded during those years. The results of the survey reveal a certain degree of population stability. The estimate for reproductive success is 1 with an average productivity of 0.89. The results show a good conservation status of the species population, although several hazards have been detected that could threaten their stability
