World hypertension Day 2009 in Croatia and CRASH report. Awareness aboujt danger hidden in salt

In 2007 Croatian Action on Salt and health (CRASH) was lauched. As a part of that programme, on the WHD a feld survey on hypertension and salt was organized by the CSH. The aim of the survey was to establish level of awareness in general population concerning salt intake and its harmful effects. &48 participants from cities Zagreb, Bjelovar, KOprivnica, Virovitica, Osijek, Split and Pula were enrolled. and filled out the questionnaire on salt consumtion awareness.
