Development of optical particle counter of LED lamp-house

To improve the measuring performance of the Optical Particle Counter(OPC),a new OPC(DLJ-06 OPC) with resonant channels and long-use periods was introduced.The DLJ-06 OPC takes a Light Emitting Diode(LED) as its light source and measures the particle diameter based on Mie scattering,which has an advantage over a laser source in use lifetime and monotonous curve.By comparion with a Integrating Nephelometer(designed by TSI)in measuring results,it shows that the size distributions measured by DLJ-06 OPC are reasonable,the measurement error is less than 15%.Those advantages show that the DLJ-06 OPC is suitable for measurement and research on size distribution of aerosol.
