Is the home-field advantage in limited overs one-day international cricket only for day matches?

The impact of the factors "home field advantage" , "winning the toss" and "team superiority" on the outcome of Limited Overs One Day International (ODI) cricket matches is investigated. Our results show that the "home-field-advantage" is a significant factor but only for "Day" matches. Confirming previous studies, we also show that "winning the toss" does not give any statistically significant advantage towards the outcome of the game.
