Role of immediate bedside transthoracic echocardiography in diagnosis of acute cardiogenic chest pain

Chest pain is a common complaint in outpatient and emergency departments. The main cause of acute cardiogenic chest pain is acute coronary syndrome, pulmonary embolism, and aortic dissection. Immediate bedside transthoracic echocardiography is convenient and can be used to determine the cause of acute cardiogenic chest pain by observing the abnormal structure and function of the heart, playing a more and more important role in clinical diagnosis of acute cardiogenic chest pain.
