Progress on Asymmetry Catalytic Reactions to Synthesis of Chiral Drug

The application of asymmetry catalytic reactions to synthesis of chiral drug such as asymmetry catalytic hydrogenation,oxidation,cyclopropanation,carbonylation and asymmetry catalytic reduction of carbonyl was reviewed. The synthesis methods of Levodopa,(S)-naproxen, 1-menthol,(S)-propranol,(S)-atenolol, cilastatin,fluoxetine,ibuprofen and three typical asymmetry catalytic oxidations such as Sharpless epoxidation,dihydroxylation and hydroxyamination were introduced. The trend of development of asymmetry catalytic reaction to synthesis of chiral drug was given in this article.
