KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDES, AND PRACTICES OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AIR POLLUTION AND CHILDREN’S RESPIRATORY HEALTH IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN

2021
We conducted a cross-sectional survey to decide the condition and the factors relevant to the experience, behaviors, and practices of the citizens of Lahore about air quality and child respiratory health. Multiple logistical regressions were used to find demographic variables correlated with resident capacity. The questionnaires were completed by nine hundred and seventy-two people, half of them from Lahore Children's Hospital and the other half from Jiading. Half of the information and attitude ratings of participants are equal to or greater than 8.0, with 9 points being equal to or less than 4.0 out of 75%. Our analyses showed that the average intelligence, values for the two classes were significant (t = 1.27, p < 0.05). Moreover, methodological research shows that attitudes toward air pollution and the government's understanding in their attempts to mitigate it differ significantly between the two communities. In practice, the goals of protecting the health of girls, hospitals, and volunteer organizations were also quite different. 90 percent of respondents believed that any resident handles enhancing air quality and that increased regulation should be carried out by common intervention of government and all residents. It is also possible to invest more money to give people enough practice to better mitigate the impact of poor air quality.
