Toxicity of Oxytropis kansuensis Towards Rabbits

2011
Eighteen healthy adult rabbits were randomly divided into three groups, and were fed with O.kansuensis respectively at 1 g/(kg·d-1)and 5 g/(kg·d-1)and10 g/(kg·d-1),and Blood biochemical indicators were tested before the experiment and interval 14 days after experimental,to study the toxicity of O.kansuensis towards rabbits. The results showed that an pregnant females of group Ⅲ was abortioned in 18th day,and rabbits of group Ⅱand group Ⅲ were appeared O.kansuensis poisoning symptans in 35th day,and rabbits of groupⅠdoes not appeared abnormal performance in the period of experiment. In the al1 test period, the AKP,GOT activity and BUN content inereased(P0.05 or P0.01),and GPT activity decreased obviously(P0.05 or P0.01).No significant changes in CRE content in the period of experiment.LDH activity was increased significantly from 14th to 28th(P0.01) and then returned in every group during experiment.
